I've bought a few different lights from this brand and wanted to get some on timers. They work great and cover a lot of surface area (and plants!) The bulbs do get warm, but that isn't an issue for me. These lights have helped fuel my plant addiction through the winter before and they'll do it again. Loving my expanded set up
I recently ordered directly from the Sansi website, expecting a higher level of service than what I might receive from other platforms like Amazon. Unfortunately, my experience has been extremely disappointing.
After numerous issues and delays with the shipment, I finally received my order, only to find that the packaging was damaged and one of the lamps was crushed and unusable. To make matters worse, the product was not packed with the necessary care for such fragile items.
Throughout this entire process, customer service has been unresponsive and unhelpful, offering no solutions or interventions to resolve the situation. At the moment, I am waiting for return instructions, and I will update this review based on how the situation is handled.
I would not recommend purchasing directly from this site, as it has proven to be inefficient and unreliable.
The product quality is very good, the process of purchase was also excellent.
I bought this for houseplants and an aquarium with emergent plants. The lights are bright and easy to maneuver, so they're working beautifully where I put this unit.
Side note - I bought the version with the timer. Next time, I'll get the ones without a timer and just plug them into separate timers. We've had power outages lately, and the timer deactivated. The lights were on when the power went out and they came right back on when power was restored. However, the timer had deactivated when the power failed and didn't reactivate when power came back on. The lights had to be shut off manually. Then I had to reset the timer the next day. If you live in an area where the electricity isn't entirely reliable, I'd suggest the lights without timers built in then put them on a separate timer, either an analog one or one you can program with your phone.
My plants love this light! I love this light too... with a few caveats. The goosenecks are a tad flimsy and don't want to stay where they are adjusted. And the cord is on the short side. I had to use an extension cord, which means I now have an extension cord plugged into a power strip. Not ideal. I wish the cord was a few feet longer. Even with those minor issues, the light bulbs are excellent and my plants are absolutely thriving.
