The SANSI 45W LED Plant Lamp with Stand is a game-changer for any indoor plant enthusiast. For us, it’s been a revelation. We’ve been caring for a 6-year-old Ocimum tenuiflorum—a “RARE,” “VERY RARE,” “VERY VERY RARE” plant that’s notoriously sensitive to cold and light fluctuations. Living in a loft with suboptimal conditions, we’ve tried countless lighting setups. None came close to the SANSI. The lamp’s strength and consistency have helped our delicate basil thrive, even when temperatures dip below 15°C. The ability to dim the light in four steps is a huge plus, allowing us to tailor the intensity to the plant’s needs throughout the day.
The remote control is another standout feature. It’s intuitive, responsive, and packed with all the functions you’d want—brightness control, timer settings (4, 8, 12 hours, or continuous), and power toggling. You don’t need to fiddle with buttons on the lamp itself, which is especially handy when it’s mounted high or tucked behind foliage.
Visually, the lamp is sleek and modern. The flat LED array adds a stylish touch, and the adjustable stand (16–63 inches) makes it versatile for different plant heights. However, it’s worth noting that the heatsink runs hot at level 4. After 2–3 hours, the lamp becomes untouchable, though a clear warning label is present for safety.

That said, our unit did have a few drawbacks. Most notably, there’s a flickering issue at brightness levels 1 and 2, visible around the 2-3 second mark in my test video. Levels 3 and 4 are stable, but the lower settings are problematic, especially if you’re trying to conserve energy or provide gentle evening lighting.

Additionally, the tripod stand needs improvement—it’s functional but lacks the stability and polish you’d expect at this price point.
Despite these flaws, the SANSI grow light remains a powerful tool for plant care. If you’re serious about indoor gardening and need a reliable, customizable light source, this lamp delivers—especially for rare and sensitive plants like ours. Just be mindful of the flicker and consider reinforcing the stand for added stability.

Je suis étonnée qu'une télécommande suffise pour les deux lampes (achetées individuellement et installées à 3 mètres de distance). Je m'inquiète du temps de vie de ces lampes, de leur remplacement une fois le temps venu.
Autrement, leur qualité de fabrication, leur puissance, leur esthétique.... tout me va !
The 45 W grow light reaches my expactations, good at a dostance of 1.5m too covering an area of 2 sm
Compared to my previous Sansi tripod grow lights, this one has its own remote control and built-in timer with 6/8/12 hour settings. It is also dimmable, which is a welcome addition, since at 100% the light could be too harsh for most houseplants within a radius of 30cm or so. The light has a pleasant warm temperature, and compared to most Sansi grow bulbs it is cast across a wider area, making this lamp ideal for illuminating several plants at the same time in a corner. A further evolution compared to my previous Sansi lights with a built-in timer is the fact that the lamp turns on immediately when plugged in and does not need to be turned on using the remote control. This enables the use of external timers to automate use beyond 12 hour periods. The only potential downside is the appearance, which might clash with home decor in some cases. All in all this is the best Sansi light I have ever used so far, perfect for illuminating an entire corner from a distance of 0,5 - 1 meters or so.

I like how you can adjust the height but the lamp is not sturdy enough, it falls down easily, I had to sit mine in a corner of my living room.
I like it very much, but it is a little bulky with the tripod compared to the light beam.
