I purchased 4 of these bulbs. Definitely a little pricey, and wish they had a 4 pack deal... However considering you're technically getting a powerful grow light, timer, dimmer, and remote adds more value.
The construction is definitely heavy and solid. I ended up putting these in a 4 bulb fixture, replicating faux track lighting, while the bulbs were too heavy for the fixture to hold up the bulb, a few zip ties and they stayed aimed exactly where I want them.
My plants have been happy and the color of the light is excellent for inside the home.
I purchased my first one and it lasted for 8 years. I just received my new one within a week here in Greece. It’s an amazing product for my orchids and other indoor plants. Hey ! The lights work fine. I have 2 bulbs in the same room and I needed to have them work on different intensity and different hours but both of them respond to same remote and its difficult to set them on different modes.
Great light, angle at which it puts light out is too narrow though

I'll admit this is a bit spendy, but it's so wonderful that you can use these in a regular light fixture. I have a rather dark house and love plants, so I have to rely on grow lights for the majority of my plants to survive. This is a game changer for me. I'm so excited to have this as an option.

I use this grow bulb mainly for my Monstera. I only have a north window so a supplemental and powerful light like this is essential for it to grow decently.
I am already familiar with the Sansi brand as I own many of their bulbs. Like those bulbs, this too is well constructed, built with materials that keep it durable, and dissipates heat effectively.
This bulb also gives you customization options. You are given a remote that can adjust the internal timer for 4/8/12 hours and a brightness setting at 25/50/75/100%.
The light area is focused but can be slightly enlarged if you put it further away from your source. While a 600W equivalent sounds very bright, I have mine in a ceiling pendant light fixture so it's somewhat diffused in the room, but it directly hits my plant right below.
Overall, this light is bright, can be on a timer, and most importantly my Monstera is doing well.
Quite a bit bigger than I thought, I didn't pay attention to the size information really as it doesn't matter for the light socket it's going in. It does draw a surprising amount of energy, not a lot per-se, just more than I was expecting; not something I have to worry about, but worth noting, nonetheless.
I've tried several different brands of full spectrum indoor plant lights through the years and, hands down, this last six months of using Sansi - I had switched before requesting this awesome bulb - has my plants growing and looking great. Within a couple of days of changing brands the leaves respond. Within a few weeks overall growth in size, stem, and leaf, is nicely improved along with depth of color.
I was very happy to receive this unit with the onboard timer and remote. This bulb is large, at the widest point it's 4.25" with a total depth of 5" and it's packed with leading technology so a bit heavier than a bulb of comparable size and a touch heavier than I anticipated.
I'm using it without the shade (necessary for other blubs to enhance the light) of utilitarian clamp receptacle which is suspended from a metal shelf and completely secure. It's in an open space and doesn't get terribly hot; I think the air circulation is better for the technology and life span.
I already love the remote for, when I remember, brightening and dimming the light in steps for a more natural experience for my plants. I totally appreciate the LED and Sansi's full spectrum output which absolutely outshines plant performance compared others that I've tried. The bulb flashes twice to confirm when you've set or changed the timer. Plus, there's no little 'tick' noise that plug timers emit as they complete the cycle...having two in the same room is annoying.
As I mentioned, I've used numerous indoor plant lights but Sansi is the first to offer a 5 Year Warranty and anticipate that it will last longer. The way I see it is that it's costing (at full retail) $1.17 a month, $0.30 a week, to help my plants thrive without the need for the extra expense of a plug hogging timer. I call this a good value!
