Decent , bright, compact stand, produces heat, less durable but replacable

Bright light! The stand packs down to very compact size due to the legs folding upwards. The attachment point on top is secure but a little funny in that you can attach in two ways , side ways or upright. To attach it upright you need to remove the plastic cover off the top - took a minute to figure out - probably never find the cap again if you wanted it for some reason placed sideways the cap can stay on but there is no angling up and down. The stand is lightweight - so can be tippy BUT IF you have space for the legs to be at full stance width its stable as long as cord management is minded! Overall the stand is pretty thin you can see in pics the diameter of stand legs compared to my fingers - not super tough -The cord comes off the top - no cord clips but velcro can be used to route down the pole so at least if the cord gets snagged it may just movecthe stand rather than pull the top over. I like that this a replacable bulb fixture with stand rather than integrated. I have alot of lights thatconce they stop working that all she wrote - which can be less than ideal depending on your situation. 5 year warranty on the bulb is a nice assurance as well - but not going to cover if you knock it over and break it type thing which is possible! Overall this is decent product -but I wish the stand was more substantial ,I feel the price is high, and this wouldnt be in my top 10 picks for a work light -The stand and bulb do not feel very durable and the light is a flood so walking towards it is blinding and it produces alot of heat in my opinion. I have many as bright and brighter ,far more sturdy, they dont make me hot like this one does. To be fair some in my top 10 are priced a tad higher , but some are lower as well so concider your useage - and the points mentioned - Feel this wont be used as much as my other ones .

Awesome portable and quality work light

The SANSI work light is truly portable. Once folded, it is only 16 inches long. The included LED bulb is bright and can be replaced with any bulbs with E-26 base. The tripod is very quality, well made, and extremely sturdy. The tripod can be easily adjusted high or low to fit your work platform, and the light can rotate 360 degrees to any direction you want. Awesome portable work light. Highly recommend.

Blindingly bright, great for outdoor use or areas of the house with poor lighting

Our dining room lighting is not great. A nice fan, really dim bulbs, low wattage recommendations, we cannot get this area of the house lit for anything. Against French doors during the day, natural sunlight does wonders. At night, it is one of the darkest rooms in the house. We have this in a corner, facing the corner, it is so bright. Against white paint in the corner, turning this one, it really lights up the dining room very well. Not ideal for this, we got it for outdoor lighting for get togethers, with only 2 wall lights simply designed to give understanding of walking through the yard, no real lighting for gatherings. This lights up well. Very long legs, need to put in an area not traveled, but the brightness area of coverage is great, light weight, easy to move around. Got a decent length cord, given the height you can put this. This is bright, especially looking into it, but it is not a spot light, it just does well to light up a given area. Works very well, nicely priced.

A Tower of Light

I've been on the lookout for a versatile work light that can handle a variety of tasks, from late-night car repairs in the garage to outdoor projects around my yard. I've always used a flimsy flashlight or a clunky, old halogen work light, neither of which really did the job well. When I came across the SANSI 300 Watt Equivalent LED Work Light, with its portable design and telescoping stand, I was immediately drawn to its potential for providing a powerful and customizable light source. The first thing I noticed when I assembled it was the quality of the stand. It’s made from a premium carbon steel that feels incredibly sturdy and stable. The telescoping feature allows me to adjust the height from 30 to 55 inches, which is perfect for directing the light exactly where I need it, whether I’m sitting on the ground or standing up. The light head itself is impressive. It’s a 3300LM LED, and it puts out a powerful, bright 5000K daylight-white light. The brightness is fantastic; it completely illuminates a wide area and eliminates shadows, which has made detailed work so much easier. The light panels are also adjustable, so I can pivot them to a 360-degree angle to get the perfect coverage. The portability of this light is another huge selling point. It’s lightweight and easy to carry, and the tripod stand folds up compactly, making it simple to store in a closet or the trunk of my car. I've taken it camping a few times, and it has been a game-changer for setting up our campsite and cooking after dark. The light is so bright and clean that it feels like daylight, which is great for working on things or just enjoying a late evening. However, I have noticed that the power cord is a bit short. It requires me to use an extension cord almost every time I use it, which can be a minor annoyance and an extra thing to have to pack. It's a small detail, but a longer cord would have made it a truly flawless experience. In summary, this work light has exceeded my expectations in its performance and versatility. The robust, telescoping tripod stand and the powerful, adjustable LED light are its key strengths, providing a reliable and customizable light source for any project. The short power cord is a minor drawback, but it is easily managed. It has become my go-to tool for everything from household tasks to outdoor adventures, and I appreciate how it has made my work brighter and more efficient.

Bring your sunglasses

I’ve been using halogen work lights and I was getting tired of the heat they throw off. This light is easier to move and position and I don’t have to worry about a plastic drop cloth melting if it comes in contact with it. The stand is light and a little flimsy but that’s not really an issue since it doesn’t have any structural demands, to its advantage it folds up to a couple of feet. I got the 45 watt light and it’s almost overwhelming in brightness. I’m having to position it out of my line of sight to keep from being blinded. When I turned it on to test it my wife was looking at it and actually yelped in pain at the glare. This could really use a shade/shield or diffuser for the bulb which is why I knocked off a star. That being said, I now position this to shine on the ceiling and light the entire room I’m painting. I don’t think this will replace traditional work lights although it’s priced about the same but it does throw a lot of light. I’d recommend but think about how you’ll be using it.

Pros & Cons, but a good value

I'll start with the bottom line...it has its pros and cons, but I gave it an extra star for being a good value at this price point.Pros:- Bright AF! 6000 lumen is alot of light! The beam angle of 120 degrees is important to consider. It's not wide enough to light a room...it's definitely best for lighting a work area or part of a room.- Even LEDs this bright are MUCH safer than halogen. These LEDs still generate enough heat to burn, but it'll take 4-5 seconds of contact to happen. In contrast, contact with a halogen bulb will instantly burn severely.- The stand is not elegant, but it is functional. If you can sacrifice a couple inches of height, you can spread the legs out more for greater stability. Although the stand is a combination of metal and plastic components, the plastic components feel pretty beefy. And, overall, the stand is sturdy enough and stable enough for this light bulb.Cons:- The bulb hums! It's not loud enough to hear in an environment with nearly any sound at all. But if I'm working in a mostly silent environment, I can hear the hum up to 4 or 5 feet away.- Not dimmable. It's so bright that, without dimming, you'll need to put a little distance between the light and your work surface.- The stand legs are narrow diameter, thin-walled, hallow tube. The first time you accidentally step on one will be the last time it'll ever be straight. And the legs have no real feet to speak of aside from the plastic grommets capping the end of the tube legs. It's only a matter of time/use before those plastic caps are worn away and the metal tube legs start taking the wear.- It's clear that the stand and the bulb receptacle were not explicitly designed for each other. It seems like they found a generic stand and a generic bulb receptable that serendipitously work with each other. And you don't really get the full 180 degrees of up/down motion, as the power cord hits the thumb screw that secures the bulb receptable to the stand. But it gets most of the way there...maybe 10 degrees short of straight up.- This bulb is absolutely for relatively clean & dry indoor environments. The electronics driving the LEDs are totally exposed to the outside, so any amount of accidental liquid spillage or moisture condensation will likely cause a fault in the electronics.

Great light, short tripod

The SANSI 400W Equivalent LED Work Light with Stand is a very bright work light. I'm using it where I'm bouncing the light rather then using direct light and it is still very bright...nice. The light socket does it's job just fine too but the tripod is a little short. The listing claims the tripod extends to 55 inches which is 4 ft 7 in. that is not too tall for a tripod but I found it to be only 48 inches tall (4 ft.) in normal usage...a bit short. If you extend the legs so that the base would be a bout 6 in in diameter the tripod height would be 54 in (4 ft 6 in) but it certainly would not be safe to use like that. The short tripod height is a limitation you should be aware of when considering this work light. The light itself is great.

Great for home improvement or larger work

The great thing about this lamp is that even though it comes with the 300 W you can unscrew it and easily buy a brighter one so the review is more towards the stand. It works great unfolds, folds the way its supposed to cable length.

Good little work light

For the price this seems to be a good little work light. I bought it to use around the farm as well as in a house i'm renovating. Puts out a descent amount of light. When the bulb goes bad i will be putting in a bigger watt deformable light I use already in our sheds to light things up even better. I use 80 watts or higher in our machine sheds and they really light things up.I like how small it folds up. I can lower the tripod and it folds up and is only a couple feet long. Easy to store and throw in the truck and take somewhere with you. Takes up a lot less room than the normal work lights with 2 big lights on the top.Time will tell longevity on it but I'm guessing the worst that will happen is the bulb goes bad and i have to replace it. I'd rather have that then a normal work light that is non replaceable led and once it breaks you have to buy a new one.
