SANSI 12W LED Solar Security Light (Motion Sensor)

This product is fantastic! Very easy to use and install. The remote control is a bonus. It has been a game changer. A previous dark spot of the home now has extreme brightness at night. The motion detector sensor acts as a path of light when walking to the door, notification when someone is approaching the house, and a deterrent for animals and unwanted guests. The product pays for its self over time as you are saving money on batteries due to it running on solar power. I am very pleased with this product and will be buying a few more for the home.

This solar powered flood light was very easy to install, and the size and range of lighting distance & brightness is superb. It is lightweight, and can be installed almost anywhere. You do need to consider placement to optimize the solar charging, but we placed this above our west-facing back door, and we've not had issues with battery life. It has held up through severe storms already, with high winds and hail; it appears to have no damage. I personally think the price is fair, as the quality and usage seem to both be great. The only downside, for me, is that we were hoping the light would be activated when we exit our garage, which faces the house, but the motion sensor doesn't activate until we are basically right under the light. It does get activated by the stray cat that frequents our yard nightly, so we know the sensor is somewhat sensitive. We may just need to adjust the placement or something, but we've been mostly pleased with this light so far.

I don��t have power at my shed so I was forced to get a solar powered light. Im not a big fan of solar powered lights because they just don��t seem to produce enough power to produce a bright enough light.Now THIS flood light changed the game! I was hesitant, but I took a chance, and I��m so glad I did.This fixture is honestly, the brightest solar powered light that I��ve ever seen. It��s so bright that you wouldn��t think that it��s solar poweredIt was super to easy to install. It comes with 2 mounting brackets. 1 to mount the fixture to the wall, and 1 to mount the solar panel to the wall if you choose to mount it separately from the fixture. The fixture actually has a mounting bracket on it to mount the solar panel.All of the hardware that you need to install it comes in the box. You will only need the tools or drill to install it based on the type of wall you��re going to mount it on. All I needed was a cordless drill.If it wasn��t for the solar panel, it looks just like a regular hardwired light fixture. It looks really good on the wall. With the many light panels on it, it looks like it gives off a lot of light, and it DOES.It also comes with a remote control which is a plus. With the remote, you can power it on and off, and change the modes as well.The motion sensor works well and picks up motion from a decent distance.I have no problems with this fixture. I��m glad that I got it and recommend it to anyone who is looking for a solar powered light that is super bright and easy to install. You definitely get you money��s worth with this one.

I've put up enough solar lights to know, the panel is what makes the difference. A great panel on a mediocre light, still lights up when you need it in winter. This has a great panel, and the light is actually good too. The solar panel pops off and has its own bracket, so you can angle it toward the sun separate from where the light points.That's the real upgrade, with one honest asterisk. The cable between the panel and the light is short, about eight inches. So "mount the panel separately" really means nudge it to a better angle right there at the fixture, not run it off to a sunny spot across the yard. If your light location is shady, this isn't the one that solves that with a long lead. Mount the whole unit where it gets real sun and aim the panel for the best of it.It is genuinely good. It's bright for a solar light this size, and the motion is responsive. There's a main head plus side heads and a bottom one, all aimable, so instead of one hot spot you can fan it across a patio or a driveway and cover a few directions at once. It can effectively see around the corner.Three modes, but motion-on is the one I'd run, full brightness when something moves and off the rest of the time to save the charge.

The security light was simple to install, taking no more than 15 minutes to remove the old fixture, install the new bracket, connect the wires and mount the light. It’s great hope the lights can be adjusted up and down and left and right to give great coverage. Will be buying a second one to install.

Bright. Mounted about 20ft above ground (see pictures). I just installed it, so I haven't tested durability or weather resistance.

I purchased the light fixture to replace an old light fixture on the side of the house. I was looking for a light that provided adequate light with motion sensor. This unit does the job. The picture taken at a distance from the light is approximately 60 for the light source. The distance between the houses is approximately 27. The light provides enough light for the entire area. The installation of the fixture took ~10 minutes from start to finish. No special tools required. Definitely recommend this light fixture to anyone looking to buy this unit.

Nice and bright. And the range is pretty far for the motion sensor. My drive way is about 30ft long + Sidewalk and it picks up car movement from the street when full max.

Been having people trying to access cars in my neighborhood again, so I upgraded the light on my house by the front door to this, couldn't be happier with the area covered in light or the ease of installation. Directions are easy to follow for the install, and also for how you want the light to function.

This is what we were looking for! It's so dark behind my home and we couldn't see anything once the sun set. No complaints here!

I replaced a motion sensing light I had purchased at home depot and the difference is like night and day. This thing is BRIGHT and the motion sensing works like a champ with more choices that any that I've used before. The saddest part is this one is cheaper than the waste I bought at Home Depot. I REALLY like the duration options, from a few seconds to 10 minutes on with motion. I leave it at five minutes and its perfect. Easy install with a unique look. Highly recommended.

Excellent build quality and design. Installation fast and easy with supplied hardware. Was pleasantly surprised how much my back yard was lit up and my dog loves it!

Very easy and nice

I bought this LED Adjustable Security Light for my driveway to light it up if strangers come around at night. It has so many adjustments for any condition. I set mine from dusk to Dawn and wide range motion. Works perfect. We love the light. You can turn it on if you want to sit out front and BBQ too. Best light ever. Highly recommend!!!!!

Bright light easy to install on a weatherproof octagon box

Ordered two of the bronze colored three LED per side units to replace the old Halogen fixtures on our home. The fixtures are high quality and come with everything needed for installation(wire nuts, screws and bracket, weather seals and understandable instructions). They have a nice finish and really updated the outside of the house.I mounted these in a recessed J-Box on our vinyl soffit which took a couple of easy modifications as these are set up from the factory for wall mounting (Removed circuit board screws which I was then able to flip up and out of the way, these are under the top cover which can be removed with a small flat tip screw driver. Once inside the housing I then loosened two jam nuts for the LEDs with pliers and rotated the LEDs over the plastic stop which prevents them from turning any further, then retighted. I then removed the motion sensor screw and flipped sensor over then reinstalled screw.) These easy changes allowed the fixture to be mounted upside down with no permanent modifications and no issues.The light output is very bright and lights up our backyard very well, light is cast over a large area and I can see the trees which are nearly 300ft away. I don't recommend looking directly into the LEDs as you won't be able to see very well for a short period of time. The color is a bright white with maybe a very slight hint of blue, I think 4500k-5000k is about accurate.I chose the three light per side fixture and it is bright... possibly too much if you have neighbors very close. I could have maybe gone with the 8 LED (4 per side) unit on the back of our home and got away with it, but it would be too much on the front even though our neighbor on that side is a good distance away.The motion sensor has a very wide range on it and I was able to trigger the light from about 25 feet away on the medium setting. I ended up turning the sensor setting to low as some moths seemed to trigger the motion sensor and the light was not shutting off at the time I had set. I will have to play with the sensor some more, but I am very happy with the range and fact that it will pick up motion if anyone gets near our deck or walks near the light which covers an entrance to our home.I can't comment on longivity, but so far I am very happy with these lights and I am not one to win over easily. The quality is excellent, came with everything needed for installation and the light output and color is very good. It even has a daylight sensor so the light will not trigger during the day and can be manually overridden with a simple flip of the light switch.If you are looking for a quality light fixture that won't break the bank then I really believe you can't go wrong with these units from SANSI.

Have this mounted on the top of a pavilion (14feet high). It lights up a 1/4 acre backyard enough for playing at night. I ordered 2 more since this purchase.
