15W UV Light Sanitizer Box (US ONLY)

Works great. Had one that needed special filtrers. This one uses UV light. Worth it.

This UV sanitizer box is really nice, the inside of the box is surrounded by 24 UVC light LED chips that operate at strong 260-280nm wavelength, and provide full 360 coverage inside, the interior is plastic but does have 2 reflective mirror surfaces on the top, and the bottom for maximum light coverage, and even includes a metal tray to keep items elevated off the bottom, so the lights don't get blocked, the box is a large size I could easily fit several cellphones in it, plus have some room to spare, I roughly measured the inside of the box at 9.5 inches long, 7.3 inches wide, 5.5 inches deep (including upper lid depth). The lid is magnetic and requires some effort to open it, the device is bulky, but it can be moved around easily thanks to the soft leather handle that can swivel around, this unit can be used to disinfect items such as bottles, cellphones, keys, bags, remote controls, toothbrushes, dishes, mail, small packages, gloves, canned food and drinks, ...etc, the device has a built-in mechanism that turns off the lights while the lid is open for safety, and just takes 5 minutes for a disinfection cycle. This device is powered by standard AC 120v electric, just plug it in, add items in, close lid press the large button on the front to turn it on, simple to use, while the light is flashing it's running the disinfecting cycle. The product didn't come with any type of UVC dosimeter test card, so I am unable to test the strength of the uvc radiation, the manual states it has 100-500 uW/cm2 irradiance level, I noticed the LED diodes on the upper lid are a different type than the LED's in the lower bin. Overall I recommend, clean and safe method to disinfect items without using harsh chemicals, can disinfect delicate items, excellent 360 degree LED light coverage, well-built with a strong handle, lid magnets, metal rack, short 5 minute runtime, it's also completely silent while running. Note: Remove the blue plastic film before using.

First off, I need to fall on my sword by admitting that I didn't pay attention to how big this sterilizer was going to be. It's way bigger that I need or want. It may be fine for someone with a lot of baby supplies that need to be sterilized, but I was looking for something to sterilize my phone and other small products. The instructions list a lot of products that can be cleaned, and that's great, but they don't say whether or not you need to turn off your phone before you start sterilizing it. I did, as a precaution, but it would be helpful if they spell out right in the instructions if you need to turn it off or if it's safe to leave it on. The first time I sterilized my phone, I followed the directions and (after turning it off) put it in the box, closed the lid and pressed the button on the front. It went from a solid green light to blinking. I was expecting to hear a little beep or buzz or something to let me know when it was finished, but there was no sound or alert. It just stopped blinking. The second time I did it, I pressed the button and then turned on a timer for 5 minutes to see if it really lasted for that full time, and it did, so the timing is definitely accurate. I wanted to peek while it was cleaning, so I opened the lid while it was sterilizing my nail tools, and the process shut off immediately, which was great. This might be a good product for families with kids who need a lot of things sterilized, but it's overkill for what I need.

We like it mainly because it is certified or approved by EPA( please see the photo) and it is safe to use. We also like the size and it is easy to use. You just close the cover ( the door) and push the button, that’s it. We find the product is refined; every part of it and seamlessly connected. When you take the stuff from the box, you smell a clean smell. It seems that you do not have to clean nothing inside outside. If you want to travel with it, it might be a good idea; because there is a handle on the box. And we also keep the original cardboard box which also has a handle. An excellent product!a
