Very interesting 🤔
ALL of our Thanksgivings have been wonderful but this year my grand daughter will be walking in the Chicago Thanksgiving Day parade as an Azalea Trail Maid. The Maids represent the best of the South, in beauty and intelligence. They work hard in our community to promote selflessness and giving hearts..doing for those less fortunate.
I amso proud of her and all the girls for all they do!

Our best Thanksgiving holiday tradition, is i have my now adult Children, help make dinner by they each chose a fixing out of the hat & if it’s a 2 person item, they can pick a sibling or me, to help. It can be messy, but it is something i have been doing with my Children since they were little. My Husband, not their Dad, stay out of the kitchen during this festive time, but does help with all the clean up while i relax :). We also start to get the list of Christmas things that need to get done written down & thrown into the hat, for the next day when they all come back over to help put up ALL the Christmas Decor. If we don’t get to it the very next day, it is done by the weekend
A time to give thanks for the blessings that we have. My family is mostly gone but I am alive and we will be together. A lot to give thanks for this year. If COVID has done nothing else for us, it has taught us to give thanks for what we have.
The best holiday gatherings involve family game time. The dining table is cleared, though snacks and drinks are near at hand. Everyone gathers around and cunning, luck, and bargaining ensue! I am so thankful for these times.
