This is a convenient light. Probably on the less yellow side but decently strong for its size. Great product.

I have several grow bulbs from this brand, they work well for my plants. I use them on Hoyas & a variety of succulents. This light is nice for a small gathered group or one larger plant. It can be used on the gooseneck stand or off as a hanging lamp. The cord is heavy duty & works in a humid environment. This lamp is great for back up lighting when sunlight is limited & for wintering plants over indoors. Very nice.
It's a solidly decent light. The build quality is there -- it feels solid and sturdy, especially the light itself. And while I don't have a serious light meter, I do have a cheap little analog needle one, and the output seems to be better than the T5 fixtures I also use. Additionally, while it puts out some heat, it's nothing too bad.
My only qualm has to do with my particular use case. I picked this up for starting seedlings, which means I need something that can be positioned fairly close to the surface. With the adjustable tripod, this unit is probably more suited to taller houseplants. At it's lowest, it can maybe sit 16" above the surface, but that height the tripod legs are fully splayed flat, which makes it difficult to place trays nar the base.
For a houseplant type application, this is probably a good bet. For seedlings, I might look for something with better placement options.
Emits a very bright, white light. The stand works, but I would not place it where it could be bumped by people or pet traffic. My Florida Ghost started putting out yellow/ghost leaves again after moving under this light from its window spot with natural light.
